FIRST INNINGS

In this match between DC vs MI. Mumbai won the toss and chose to bowl in. After that, they only regretted it because J. McGurk started hitting a series of fours and sixes from the 3rd over itself and he completed his half-century in just 15 balls and gave Delhi a brilliant start. Gave a forced start and batted at a run rate of 15.3.
AFTER POWERPLAY
Even after the powerplay, J. McGurk continued his innings and he was dismissed by Piyush Chawla in the 9th over and scored 84 runs in just 27 balls. And then in the second consecutive over i.e. in the 10th over. I. Porel was also dismissed by M. Nabi in the and he scored only 36 runs and that too in 27 balls. But after that till the 14th over, S Hope who was playing well was also dismissed by Wood and he was only able to score 41 runs and that too in 18 balls.
After that, a partnership was formed between R.Pant and T. Stubbs and both of them together Scored 55 runs in the 19th over R.Pant was also caught by Bumrah and he scored 29 runs in 19 balls and finally after the end of 20 overs Delhi scored 256 runs, and T.Stubbs and A.Patel remained unbeaten.

When Mumbai came to bowl, they played well in the first three overs. After that, Mumbai lost 3 wickets in three consecutive overs including the dismissals of Rohit Sharma 8 (8), I. Kishan 20 (14) and Suryakunnar Yadav 26 (13) and Delhi put Mumbai completely on the back foot. They faced the loss of 3 wickets for 65 runs in the powerplay.
AFTER POWERPLAY
After losing three wickets in the powerplay, Mumbai needed a partnership. At the crease, Captain Hardik and Tilak and both of them together made a partnership of 71 runs. But then in the 13th over Mumbai’s captain Hardik was also out and he made 46 runs in just 24 balls. And in the same over N. Vadhera was also out and Rasikh Salam dismissed both of them in the same over and dashed Delhi’s hopes of winning.
But in front of them still, there was a wall of Tim David and Tilak Verma. After that, they made a partnership of 70 runs in just 29 balls. But then T. David was also out in the 18th over and he made 37 runs in 17 balls after that. Tilak kept on playing alone and Nabi was out in the 19th over. Tilak and Puyish Chawla were also out in the 20th over. In the end, Mumbai managed to make only 247 runs but lost by 10 runs
